Surf Life Saving is a unique not-for-profit, community cause that exists through community donations, fundraising, corporate sponsorship and government grants. We are Australia's peak coastal water safety, drowning prevention and rescue authority.
This role would suit someone who has completed some IT training or Industry certifications and would like to make a start in the IT industry, or someone returning to the workforce who already has IT experience.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and manage Desktop environments.
• Provide technical support across all computing and room presentation devices, handling inquiries and escalating as needed.
• Maintain an effective asset register for all IT equipment.
• Oversee Office 365 services and licenses.
• Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of SLSA applications, providing timely support and troubleshooting to resolve any issues.
• Carry out acceptance testing for changes to SLSA systems.
• Work closely with ICT Manager, ICT Architect, ICT Operations Team Leader, and Senior Systems Administration staff.
Skills and Experience:
• Qualifications or equivalent relevant experience in supporting computer systems.
• A current Australian Drivers Licence and a vehicle or access to a vehicle to travel between offices as required, is required for this position.
• Flexible approach to work hours.
• Willingness to participate in an After Hours On-Call support roster.
